The Rector's Ramblings
Dear Parish Family,
The weeks and days leading up to Christmas are for most people very busy. Stress levels increase, as well as credit card bills and waistlines. I am sure this was never the intention of Church leaders in the designation of advent as a season of preparation. Nevertheless, as a wise man once said "it is what it is."
I have to remind myself again and again at this particular time of the year that we do not prepare for the coming of Christmas, we prepare for the coming of Jesus. We welcome him once again into our hearts and commit ourselves to following him as Lord. This is certainly cause for celebration and the celebration at Calvary will be truly wonderful.
Please come and share in the joy as we all continue our journey to the kingdom.
